I am currently involved in a project with several friends for Breast Cancer Advocacy. For the past few years we have been creating bras for a Calendar and Exhibition. This project, called the Way to Women's Wellness Foundation has raised over $50,000 for Breast Cancer Research. It was founded by Victoria Adams Brown who is the owner of www.ribbonsmyth.com. She has personal experience with breast cancer by way of family members. This is an additional project where several women will create crazyquilt blocks which will be put together for a quilt to be displayed at a cancer hospital in Texas. This block is my unembellished offering.. I will post a finished photo when it is done.
