Daughter's CrazyQuilt Adventure

Here is the nearly finished block cropped. My daughter worked on this Satureday and Sunday and raided my stash combined with some of her own that she had left from when I taught her several years ago. She doesn't have much time to do this but she wanted to make this gift for a friend.

If I had a daughter I would love sewing with her! You two must have had lots of fun -- and such a pretty, colorful block. :)

What a great thing to pass your love of textiles and sewing on to your daughter. I learned from my mother and both grandmothers. Lots of needles have been held in those fingers. I saw the link to your blog on , as yet have been uninvolved.

Hi Willa

Now at least you have some one to leave your stash to who will know what to do with it.

I keep telling my daughter don't throw away the beads, embellishments, etc. but she is more interested in the stamping, card making, etc. then in the sewing.

Hi Willa, I saw your comment over at Allie's blog about sewing on a treadle! I didn't know you had one! Don't you love it?!! I've had my treadle machine for a few years now and I do all my CQ piecing on it. It's so much fun!

Hugs! Pam
