This is Raylinda.. a piece of fiberart created by my friend Linda Smith formerly of Melbourne, FL. Now of Chattanooga ( I like to say Chatty Nooga) Tennessee. She made this for me a while ago but finished it up. So I named it after her and her DH and (BFF) Raymond. I went to visit them recently and picked it up!

Just thought I say Hi, and let you know I came by. I mostly piece quilts but have recently dabbled in CQ, so I am curios to see what others are making. I love the purple CQ purse. I also am intrigued by the free motion embroidery, a sort of thread painting I suppose. Something I hope to give a try at. What is the name of the purple leaf plant. The color is just lovely.
